Plan to rescue gay teenager from gay cure centre

Actor Jeremy Jordan’s 17-year-old cousin Sarah was sent by her parents to “pray away the gay” at a Christian camp in Texas. Her parents “believe that homosexuality is a sin and abnormal” and “sent Sarah away against her will to an East Texas Christian boarding facility for troubled teens.”

Jordan posted pictures of Sarah with her girlfriend. Sarah’s parents sent her to the religious camp because she wanted to go to prom with the other girl, according to the fund-raising page, which said staff at the facility caught Sarah trying to escape. The page had drawn over $41,000 in donation towards Sarah’s legal expenses by yesterday afternoon.
