The Conservatives in the European Parliament are having to defend words said some years ago by a Polish MEP who is a member of their political grouping within the European Parliament, reports the BBC. It seems that a video has surfaced of Michal Kaminski, leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists, using a derogatory term for gay people. Mr Kaminski said the words had a different meaning when he used them.
Oh, so a fag was not a fag in the year 2000. Well, well.
Wriggle as much as Conservatives can and do, their words and their actions are far, far apart.
